Things are pretty routine around here at the moment. This upcoming week I have a few classes ending, which I'm excited about. All of my roommates are going on winter break for several weeks, and I'm going to be stuck at work, but at least I'll have a lighter schedule, so maybe it will feel like a mini-vacation? I'm hoping so. Of course, the classes that I like are ending, and the one or two I could do without still have weeks to go.

We've started to have movie nights at our apartment. It's a nice alternative to going out to the "flaite" (ie- ghetto) clubs. The past 2 clubs we've been to, fights have broken out right in front of us. haha, at least it's never dull!! The past weekend we had a Sandlot/taco night followed by said flaite club and tonight we're having ice cream & Michelle is surprising us with the movie.

Even though it's winter, we've had quite a few really nice days. (during the day at least, it is freezing at night once the sun goes down!!) There is a really nice park by one of the companies I teach at, so Michelle, Ben and I have gone there and played cabello (horse in Spanish) a few times. It's nice to get out of the apt, and get a little bit of exercise/fresh air. Other than that, it's same old same old. I moved into Emma's old room. It's so much bigger than my old room, I actually have room to move! :) We think we'll get a new roommate at the end of the month, but we're not positive. That would require actual communication on our landlord's behalf - we're still waiting for them to fix the lights in our living room...3 weeks and counting now. ha!

Still haven't been snowboarding. I really want to go, and am going to try to make that happen next weekend I think. We'll see. besos!
