So, today has been an amazing day. Why? Well...

*I was able to schedule my TWO & A HALF HOUR class 30 mins earlier to accommodate my lunch plans.

* The aforementioned class went by really fast. Luckily, that class hasn't been the death of me yet! ((I really enjoy it & like my student a ton, but 2.5 hrs a day, 5 days a week is intense))

* Femi & I were treated to an incredible sushi lunch by Daniela- a student we co-taught. We all cracked up as we tried to explain certain things in our non-native language. Needless to say, this resulted in some great Spanglish.

*After lunch, I found ~well bought, I'm not Gramps- ha!~ a new pair of anteojos del sol. $15 bucks. =) I finally won't be blinded anymore when the sun comes out (which it has been doing a lot of lately!!)

*This weekend is looking extremely promising- I can drink again since I'm not on antibiotics anymore!! woohoo!!

*My 7:30am class is going to be cancelled, so I don't have to wake up at 6 tomorrow!

..and most importantly...

* Prop H8te was overturned today!!!!!!!!! At least the CA courts had the sense to realize the unconstitutionality of the whole thing, even if the "majority" of Californians don't.
